Binod is a man who is most wanted at the current time in social media.
Many memes are getting viral on Binod.
So, we are going to talk all about its journey from nowhere to the viral flu, B!NOD.

How it all started?

YouTube channel Slayy Point had just made a random video on YouTube referring to the Indian Comment Section dated 15th July 2020 in which they discussed about the comments people write in the YouTube Comment Section under a video. (about how almost 80% of the Indian Comment Section is garbage)
One of the comments they mentioned was of a user named BINOD THARU who had commented his own name as feedback to the video.

This is the point where the trend of spamming B!NOD got a spark and became a trend.

Did it all end on a single platform?

It did not end on a single platform. At first, this bizarre trend of spamming Binod in the comment section of YouTube videos and lives got viral and reached every spot in India and even captured a foreign audience.
Almost every Indian YouTuber has experienced this kind of spamming in the comment box and live chats and were surprised that who is B!nod and why are people spamming it. After some time the big content creators also participated in the trend which was pretty hilarious. Even it was trending on Twitter in India by 25.8K tweets and Twitter was flooded with the B!nod memes. Twitter Users made it possible [Hashtag Binod].

Also, this was not the end!

Even Mumbai Police tweeted on 7th of August 2020, following the trend:

Mumbai Police: Dear #binod, we hope your name is not your online password. It’s pretty viral,change it now! #OnlineSafety


Followed by Mumbai Police, Uttar Pradesh Police, and Nagpur Police also participated in the trend, spreading valuable information in a funny way which is quite appreciable.

Nagpur City Police: Dear #Binod, we know you have gone viral, But your safety is important. Corona is more famous than you so stay home, stay safe.

Now, how can others be quiet?

A user named Gabbar on twitter requested Paytm to change its user name to BINOD. And that’s not over yet! Paytm literally changed its username to Binod. That was shocking!



Well, now it has been renamed back to Paytm again. (9th August around 3 pm to 4 pm)

Also, Swiggy had its 6th Anniversary on 8th August 2020. A night before that, it tweeted:



Swiggy: We think Binod will be the first person to call and wish us at 12 tonight.


Meanwhile, Disney+ Hotstar also tweeted sharing a meme on the trend and asking their followers to share the meme on the trend in the comments:
